Bohol Organizes ICT Council

The province of Bohol through its Investments Promotions Center, together with the Department of Trade and Industry, organized the Bohol ICT Council on April 23, 2008.  The members of the council were selected among the attendees of a SWOT session led by the Commission on ICT the previous week.

The council also elected its Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson and decided on the council’s name as ‘Bohol ICT Council’.  It also identified four key committes, namely Infrastructure, Human Resource, Education and Promotions.

Chocolate Hills Taken out of New Seven Wonders of Nature Nominees

For an unknown reason, the organizers of the new seven wonders of nature removed the Chocolate Hills from the list of nominees.  Currently the media organization and the government officials of the province are trying to get in touch with the organizers.  If you know any possible reason, please post a comment on this post.
