The most recent addition is a software development company that provides solutions for medical devices manufacturers. In the past several months, two web development companies have setup shop also. As of this writing, there are already at least three call centers already operating with one having 20 seats for telemarketing.

There are also two drafting services companies serving US clients. Another software development firm is developing solutions for an Irish company with clients all over the world.

Bohol is usually not an option for large BPO firms because of its lack of telecom facilities especially the required fiber optic connectivity to Cebu. However, because small operators of BPO services do not require the capacity of fiber optic connections, these have started to open shop here in Bohol. The obvious advantages are low cost manpower, a good working environment and of course, the ability to go out and relax anytime at any of the resorts in the province.
