Sunset at San Miguel
I was driving one Saturday afternoon going to Talibon, Bohol and the sun was already setting. I passed by a fairly large rice field that had the hills as its edge and these hills are themselves the edge of the cluster of the Chocolate Hills. One of the better sunsets I have seen was happening on my left. I was a bit in a hurry trying to get to my destination before it gets dark but the view was too good to pass.
My gear was a video camera with a still camera feature, not the best for this kind of shot. But what the heck. My ever reliable second hand green Revo raised a cloud of dust as I came to a stop on the dirt shoulder. I looked for my sunset but where I was parked, a large campaign banner of a candidate for governor blocked the view. The banner itself was also interesting because if you read it from afar, the candidate is already the governor. The word ‘former vice-’ was printed in a very small font.
A few digital shutter sounds later, my sunset for the day became 1.2megapixel masterpieces.
I should get myself a better camera for the next shot.
